We were lucky enough in the tail end of last year to get an invitation from Digitnius to visit Microsoft’s Offices in Paddington to learn about the latest developments in Microsoft Advertising, how we can/should be leveraging maximum ROI for our clients and Diginuis software.
The day started with a quick coffee before heading through security clearance and up the glass lifts to Microsoft.
We then had a fantastic talk from the Diginius Program Manager on how to capitalise on the capabilities of MSA (Microsoft Advertising).
This was followed by a really insightful panel discussion with other industry professionals, consultants and the Diginius CEO.
Here are a few useful key takeaways from discussions the day:
- You can utilise Copilot as a diagnostic tool in Microsoft Ads! Although I’d noticed this previously, I hadn’t really utilised it yet and it’s a fantastic tool to provide insight and ideas on your existing campaigns/campaign structure, as well as helping to actually generate research/campaigns for you.
- You can now utilise PMAX campaigns to advertise within Copilot. Although I haven’t tested this myself yet, newer Windows devices now have copilot built in. This makes for a great new space to test out campaign placements!
- When importing campaigns from Google Ads, it’s fine to import the structure itself, but we shouldn’t be relying on imports entirely for success. There are many subtle, but important differences between the two platforms.
Finally, after another coffee, we headed back to the station and grabbed a pizza on the way!
